Employee Engagement as the Catalyst to Organizational Success
19 Jan 2023
To successfully execute the goals of an organization, employees must be able to understand and connect their work with those goals. When they can do this, employees feel more empowered and purposeful about the work they're doing and its impact on both the organization and the world. Overall, they feel engaged.
PMI President and CEO, Pierre Le Manh, and Fortune Media CEO, Alan Murray, got together to discuss new ways of getting – and keeping – employees engaged. According to Le Manh, employee engagement starts with involving employees in redefining corporate culture, as well as building a culture of empathy, with plenty of opportunities for connections.
And when the entire organization is engaged, organizations are viewed as stronger, more appealing, and overall, more successful – both for the business and for society.
In the video above, Le Manh and Murray discuss the benefits of investing in your employees to help foster engagement.
