I'm Booma, a passionate and adventurous program manager dedicated to driving impact and creating positive change. I've always loved pushing myself physically and mentally, whether through adventure sports, dance, or tackling complex projects that require strategic thinking.

Even nowadays, I am curious and high-energy - always trying new things. My typical daily activities include lawn tennis practice and hip-hop dance classes, which keep me active and creative. I also participate in local tennis tournaments every week to challenge my skills.

Monthly, I make time for weekend road trips and scuba diving and snorkeling adventures. These lengthy excursions allow me to explore new places and push my limits.

As an adult, I make time for these physical and mental challenges amongst my program management responsibilities whenever possible. These activities keep me balanced and allow me to bring creative problem-solving skills back to my work.

Professionally, I have over 23 years of experience managing and optimizing global programs. I lead impact assessment and optimization for 24 UN country initiatives, using my analytics skills to increase efficiency by 96%. I'm also skilled at securing funds, having exceeded targets by 15% in past roles.

I pride myself on aligning programs with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals for maximum global impact. For example, through my assessments, I increased the reach and impact of programs by 66%. I also have a talent for bringing people together, organizing 13 high-profile events with targeted campaigns that drew crowds that were 40% larger

.On top of my program management expertise, I have excellent computer skills, including website development, programming, MS Office, and more. I've taught these skills at a computer lab for underprivileged youth. I'm also involved with groups like Toastmasters International, serving as VP of Public Relations for 3 years and increasing social media engagement by 68%.

Additionally, I've published articles on sustainable construction, carbon emissions, healthy living, and more. I love writing about my passions - protecting the planet, human health, and using technology for good.

Having a balanced life leads to being a more creative, thoughtful leader.

My diverse interests and experiences allow me to approach program management with a unique perspective. Whether through dance, sports, writing, or data analysis, I'm always seeking new challenges and opportunities to learn.
